Wade Christensen is Oklahoma’s first First Gentleman. When he and his wife, Governor Mary Fallin, occupied the governor’s mansion in January, 2011, Wade brought the legacy of generations of Oklahoma heritage to his new position. He grew up in western Oklahoma on a farm that was first cultivated by his grandparents. His love for Oklahoma sunrises and the smell of freshly-tilled soil is engrained into his personality.

A genuine family man, Wade loves to man the grill at the governor’s mansion from spring to fall. Nothing pleases him more than family gathered around tables filled to the brim with grilled meats, sides, and all the trimmings.
